About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Market Manager HV Products to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is central to supporting the Front-End Sales team in marketing and sales activities for the High Voltage business unit, representing the organization's interests within the country.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to develop profitable and sustainable sales for the complete High Voltage business unit portfolio within the assigned country. The Market Manager will be responsible for implementing business unit strategies in close collaboration with Front-End Sales, Hub Marketing & Sales, and Global Marketing & Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement market strategies to achieve High Voltage business unit growth targets, collaborating with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, identifying opportunities and threats.
  • Manage market coverage and demand for the business unit, including third-party sales, internal sales, and channels, and oversee the demand-side budget for the country.
  • Facilitate the development and approval of proposals to support effective negotiations and manage the quotation process for optimal outcomes, ensuring meticulous documentation in appropriate systems.
  • Take local responsibility for the business unit's portfolio, maintaining accurate data for the project pipeline, order forecasts, and competitive insights.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the business unit in country-specific negotiations and contract management, leading customer discussions with guidance from the business unit.
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue goals within the assigned market area, identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Work with marketing teams to position products effectively, tailoring messaging to regional demands, and coordinating product launches and promotional activities with Product Marketing teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for market-related queries and feedback.
  • Develop and manage the market budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and monitoring financial performance to report on market contributions to business objectives.
  • Organize and promote after-sales activities, ensuring appropriate order handling and contract management with adherence to payment terms. Conduct postmortem analyses on offers and update information in Salesforce where applicable.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess market strategies and initiatives, preparing regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Serve as the primary trainer for front-end sales teams, providing in-depth knowledge of the High Voltage portfolio, solutions, and applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, and providing guidance for professional growth.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in market management, sales, or a related field within the high voltage products sector.
