About the Opportunity

Arla Foods is seeking a dedicated Modern Trade Representative Field Sales to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on establishing and nurturing client relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to medium-to-large-sized retail stores and wholesale accounts, adhering to pre-defined routes and schedules.
• Manage the collection of payments from clients.
• Submit orders to the warehouse for subsequent preparation and delivery.
• Focus predominantly on medium-sized stores, large retail chains, and wholesale accounts, which typically require consultative selling and sustained relationship management.
• Utilize a company vehicle for efficient travel and leverage a dedicated CRM system to log visits, track orders, manage customer data, and monitor sales performance.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Prior experience in sales, preferably within the retail, wholesale, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors.
• A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid Driving License (essential requirement) and the ability to drive long distances.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Excellent and effective communication skills (written and verbal) in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to effectively negotiate and persuade potential clients, as well as retain existing customers.
• Strong skills in building and developing long-term relationships with clients.
• Ability to analyze market data and identify new opportunities for sales growth.
• Ability to handle customer objections and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently within defined plans and schedules.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Working Conditions

• The role requires working 6 days per week.
• Ability to adapt to changing working hours and field schedules is necessary.
