About the NDT Inspector Technician Role
WISKOTS is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector Technician to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing to perform critical inspections for our clients.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The NDT Inspector Technician will be responsible for conducting various Non-Destructive Testing methods, including UT/PAUT/ToFD/TFM, to assess the integrity of structures and materials. This role involves direct client interaction and requires a thorough understanding of NDT procedures and equipment.
- Travel to client sites to perform NDT services.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment.
- Execute rigorous tests on structures and materials using non-destructive techniques.
- Develop and implement specific NDT procedures for various products and materials during and after manufacturing.
- Identify material defects through detailed inspection.
- Interpret test results accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and present findings to relevant parties.
- Ensure all NDT equipment is in good working order.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position must possess the necessary technical background and certifications to perform NDT inspections effectively. A strong understanding of engineering principles and NDT methodologies is essential.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant NDT certification, specifically ToFD or PAUT.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an NDT technician.
- Advanced knowledge of NDT technologies, including ultrasound and radiography.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
