SThree is seeking a Pre Sales Smart Grid Consultant to join a rapidly growing technology and engineering solutions provider. Founded in 2021, this company specializes in digital transformation across the energy and utilities sector, focusing on smart grid technologies, AI-powered asset performance management, predictive maintenance, and intelligent monitoring solutions. The company is supported by a prominent Saudi holding group and operates in the Eastern region, with locations in Riyadh and Dammam.

Role Overview

This full-time role involves providing technical electrical expertise and support for the development, implementation, and improvement of condition monitoring strategies for Smart Grid Solutions and Overhead Powerlines Drones. The consultant will focus on enhancing the safety, availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of assets from an electrical engineering perspective, through performance monitoring, maintenance optimization, and failure prediction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement smart grid solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
• Design and deploy Asset Performance Management (APM) for electrical systems, with a focus on predictive maintenance and asset health assessment and monitoring.
• Design and implement Electrical Asset Condition Monitoring Solutions.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for the aforementioned systems.
• Monitor and analyze performance data from client systems, interpreting results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement from an electrical engineering standpoint.
• Collaborate with clients and sales teams to develop proposals and action plans aimed at improving client safety, reliability, and performance, with a specific emphasis on electrical engineering considerations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in smart grid technologies and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical systems.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing electrical asset condition monitoring solutions.
• Ability to prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting performance data and identifying actionable insights.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, with operations in Riyadh and Dammam. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on digital innovation in the energy and utilities sector.
