About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Repairs Tendering & Project Manager to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to managing the entire repair lifecycle, from initial proposal generation through to project delivery and completion. The manager serves as the primary point of contact for the sales team when service center support is needed, and directly interfaces with clients throughout the repair process at the service center. This position involves close collaboration with the sales team, shop supervisor, operations manager, and the shopfloor team to ensure the successful repair of critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, supporting safety projects and initiatives within the Service Center.
  • Review client Requests for Quotations (RFQs), provide comments, estimate hours and costs, and create inspection offers.
  • Analyze bills of materials and manufacturing drawings to compile replacement part lists and define repair scopes for individual components.
  • Estimate and obtain costs for repairs and replacement parts, coordinating with factories and suppliers (internal/external) for project support.
  • Prepare and coordinate the delivery of project documentation and progress reports for internal and external customers.
  • Manage the inspection and repair scope, schedule, and cost of projects in execution, closely monitoring ongoing job-costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Serve as the direct client contact at the service center, interpreting customer maintenance and repair specifications for technical personnel and ensuring alignment with client and internal quality standards.
  • Support shop personnel by providing concise and descriptive work instructions for inspection and repair activities, referencing appropriate repair and factory technical specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required as a minimum.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience actively working with projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Ability to interpret shop instructions and manufacturing drawings.
  • Experience working in an organization with a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Quality.
  • Strong work ethic, pursuing excellence, and a high-quality standard.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Experience with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment repairs (*, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, power turbines, reciprocating compressors, turbochargers, valves, and/or dry gas seals).
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, with willingness for occasional overtime work to support client outages.
