The Role of Sales Engineer

SAECO is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on establishing and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales within the company's operational sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and build new connections to provide solutions to customers.
Conduct market penetration activities through customer meetings, calls, and emails to identify new sales opportunities.
Understand the customer's decision-making process.
Engage clients regarding the company's products or services and negotiate pricing.
Attend job explanation meetings and site visits, gather technical information, and discuss the Scope of Work (SOW) with the proposal engineer, technical manager, and Sales manager.
Coordinate with proposal engineers and divisional managers to ensure timely submission of offers/bids.
Coordinate with the contracts administrator of the sales account to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth business flow.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in service sales, with prior experience working with ARAMCO.

Essential Skills

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to identify new sales opportunities and develop customer accounts.
Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate effectively with technical, proposal, and contracts teams.
