About the Role
Matar Holding Company is seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Executive to join its Auto Parts division. This role is essential for driving sales and strengthening the company's market presence in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, a highly competitive spare parts market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local market, established relationships with workshops, retailers, and dealers, and the ability to effectively identify and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to workshops, dealers, and retailers to promote Matar Holding Company's auto parts products, convert opportunities into orders, and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain a consistent presence within the assigned territory, ensuring regular customer engagement and opening new accounts to expand market share.
- Utilize knowledge of car makes and models, fast-moving SKUs, pricing trends, and competitor offerings to guide customers and optimize sales.
- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with mechanics, shop owners, and purchasing managers to secure repeat business and foster customer loyalty.
- Ensure all orders comply with approved price lists, protect profit margins, and avoid unauthorized discounts.
- Report on competitor pricing, promotions, and market activities to support management decision-making and provide market intelligence.
- Coordinate with the branch sales team and logistics department to ensure stock availability, timely delivery, and a smooth customer experience.
- Actively introduce and promote new company SKUs, such as coolants and radiators, by educating customers on their benefits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A high school certificate is acceptable, provided there is proven market experience.
- A strong understanding of the automotive spare parts market in KSA, including workshops, retailers, and distributors.
- Knowledge of various car makes and models and the ability to match correct parts to vehicles.
- Familiarity with fast-moving versus slow-moving SKUs, pricing structures, and typical trade margins within the industry.
- Awareness of competitors' products, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of outdoor sales experience specifically in automotive spare parts.
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Established customer relationships and a strong network within the market.
