The Opportunity: Senior Sales Supervisor, Traditional Trade (Ice Cream)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Sales Supervisor, Traditional Trade (Ice Cream) to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is crucial for achieving the company’s growth objectives by optimizing the sales and distribution of Almarai’s ice cream product range within the designated area. The supervisor will ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures while upholding the highest standards of sales ethics.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve product distribution targets across all traditional trade channels according to the recommended portfolio to optimize sales and increase market share.
• Manage wastage levels to remain below the budgeted threshold, thereby optimizing profit margins.
• Ensure all trade credit (TC) and credit customers comply with company policy to prevent financial losses.
• Set and review sales targets for the sales team to ensure the overall objectives for the area are met.
• Retain existing shelf space and negotiate for new placements to maintain and enhance market dominance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales supervision, preferably within the FMCG sector and traditional trade channels, with exposure to ice cream products being an advantage. A strong understanding of sales ethics and distribution optimization is required.
