About the Role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Services Workshop Tamheer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, including enthusiastic fresh graduates, who are keen to develop their skills in a workshop environment. The position focuses on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of service tools to ensure optimal performance.

Role Context

A Service Workshop Technician Level 1 typically handles entry-to-mid-level tasks, involving hands-on procedural work. The role requires learning complex systems from senior staff and is primarily performed in a workshop setting, often with urgent repair demands. The technician operates under the supervision of the Service Tools Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and polishing as part of maintenance and repair tasks.
• Prepare offshore toolboxes.
• Clean equipment and tools.
• Replace worn parts and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is tested and preserved according to procedures.
• Prepare equipment for mobilization as per schedules.
• Maintain safe stocks of spare parts and service tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Record service details, complete maintenance checklists, and prepare reports on repairs performed.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding necessary repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with complex tasks.
• Document service work in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience. Generally, 3+ months of experience in maintenance, preferably in oilfield service, mechanical, or workshop environments. Enthusiastic fresh graduates are welcome.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma. A diploma or certificate in a relevant technical field (mechanical) is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems and knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read drawings, use measuring tools, and operate hydraulic tools.
• Operational Attributes: Must be able to follow detailed procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
