Specialist Chemical Lab

About the Role

Vantive Healthcare Arabia is seeking a Specialist Chemical Lab to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves ensuring materials meet compliance standards and requirements, and that all tests are completed according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). The specialist will also monitor the BCL stability program and chemical stock levels, reporting needs to the lab supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, sample, and test materials from all phases of manufacturing or handling processes to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform tests in accordance with approved testing procedures.
• Prepare documentation and technical reports for tests performed and any adverse events.
• Monitor the BCL stability program and conduct testing as required.
• Monitor chemical stocks used in analysis and inform the lab supervisor of any required chemicals.
• Perform instrument troubleshooting, calibration, and repair when necessary.
• Handle QC instruments and troubleshoot them effectively.
• Support local and external audit programs, aiming to pass all audits without major human factors observations.
• Collaborate on qualification protocols and the preparation of SOPs and associated procedural changes.
• Maintain good documentation practices.
• Assist the supervisor in out-of-limit (OOL) investigations and ensure their completion.
• Perform inventory and requests for lab reagents and consumables.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a chemical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of quality control processes and standard operating procedures.
