About the Role
WISKOTS is seeking a Sr. Field Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate field-service activities. This full-time position is based in Dammam and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role combines senior field supervision with technical and project-support responsibilities, ensuring all field operations are planned, executed, documented, and completed in accordance with approved procedures, client requirements, project schedules, and WISKOTS operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Field Operations Supervisor will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Supervising field activities such as coating and paint removal, surface preparation, metallic clamp installation, online leak-sealing support, coating application support, and pipeline-integrity activities.
- Mobilizing, organizing, and managing field teams, equipment, materials, tools, and site resources.
- Leading and controlling teams of at least 20 personnel, including supervisors, technicians, operators, inspectors, helpers, and subcontractors.
- Allocating daily activities, establishing work priorities, and monitoring manpower productivity.
- Conducting daily coordination and toolbox meetings with the field team.
- Ensuring activities adhere to approved procedures, method statements, inspection requirements, and client instructions.
- Monitoring project progress, operational constraints, equipment performance, material consumption, and manpower utilization.
- Coordinating shift arrangements, work fronts, permits, access requirements, and interface activities with the client and other contractors.
- Identifying site problems and implementing corrective actions while maintaining safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Ensuring proper housekeeping, equipment preservation, and site organization.
Technical Documentation and Planning
This role involves significant technical documentation and project planning responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing method statements, work procedures, job-execution plans, inspection requirements, and activity-specific work instructions.
- Developing detailed descriptions of work methodology, manpower deployment, equipment needs, and execution sequence.
- Supporting the preparation of risk assessments, job safety analyses, lifting plans, and inspection and test plans.
- Reviewing client specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and technical standards to identify technical gaps and areas requiring clarification.
- Preparing daily reports, progress reports, equipment records, manpower reports, incident records, and project completion documentation.
- Participating in site visits, technical assessments, tender reviews, and pre-project evaluations.
- Estimating manpower, equipment, consumables, tools, working hours, productivity, and project duration.
- Assisting in preparing technical and commercial estimates for field-service activities.
Project Management and Client Compliance
The position requires strong project management skills and adherence to client requirements:
- Applying project management principles related to scope, time, cost, quality, risk, resources, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
- Tracking actual progress against planned progress and reporting deviations to the Operations Manager.
- Coordinating with various departments including Operations, QHSE, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Administration.
- Supporting project kickoff meetings, client progress meetings, and project closeout activities.
- Maintaining control over scope changes and ensuring additional work is documented.
- Ensuring project deliverables and closeout documents are completed before demobilization.
- Applying Saudi Aramco worksite practices, documentation requirements, permit systems, and safety expectations.
- Coordinating effectively with Saudi Aramco representatives, main contractors, inspection personnel, and site authorities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates for this role must possess the following:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Saudi Aramco project experience.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary field teams.
- Sound knowledge of project evaluation, technical review, estimation, method-statement preparation, operational planning, and project management principles.
- Technically capable and disciplined approach.
