As a leading energy equipment rental company in the Gulf region, Enerco is in search of a dedicated Chemical Storekeeper to oversee the safe storage, handling, and control of chemical materials. This pivotal role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining effective inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive chemical materials, verifying quantities, quality, and documentation against approved purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper storage of chemicals following SDS/MSDS and company safety standards.
  • Classify and segregate chemicals based on their hazard type.
  • Monitor product shelf life and expiration dates, adhering to FIFO/FEFO principles.
  • Perform periodic stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Issue Vouchers, Delivery Notes, and Invoices.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics departments.

Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of chemical storage and handling procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand SDS/MSDS documentation.
  • Inventory management and stock control skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (preferred).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance.

About the Job

Requirements
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management practices.
  • Understanding of safety and health regulations related to warehousing and storage.

Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse role.
  • Experience in a similar industry or environment is preferred.
