Technical Sales Manager I Saudi National

About the Role

Future Pipe Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Manager I Saudi National to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on identifying and developing market opportunities within the upstream oil and gas sector, particularly for downhole activities. The manager will engage with key stakeholders, including end-users, contractors, and industry bodies, to understand technical requirements and qualify solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis on the upstream oil and gas sector to identify growth markets, applications, technologies, and regulations, developing strategies to capitalize on business prospects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders, especially within the drilling divisions of upstream oil and gas operators, to understand technical requirements and leverage market potential through non-metallic specifications.
• Communicate the FPI value proposition, focusing on innovation, technology, and service, particularly for downhole applications.
• Champion training and client engagement initiatives, including presentations and workshops, and provide technical guidance to enhance client confidence and drive material conversion opportunities.
• Liaise with the Technology Division to develop new solutions that meet market trends and specific customer requirements.
• Comprehend competing technologies, develop compelling arguments, and create comparative material studies to drive material conversions.
• Ensure technical offers comply with customer technical requirements, considering all aspects of the oil and gas well environment.
• Provide expert guidance on well design, resolve complex pipe selection and operational failure issues, and create models demonstrating value propositions.
• Manage a large customer portfolio with a clear focus on setting and addressing priorities.
• Independently manage large, complex customers (such as ADNOC, ARAMCO, and international IOCs) with stringent technical requirements, as well as smaller operators.
• Understand, implement, and follow all company commercial and social responsibility policies, ensuring company interests are maintained.

Collaboration and Development

The role involves close collaboration with the sales manager responsible for commercial plans and with R&D teams to develop new solutions. Maintaining strong client relationships while representing the company's image is essential.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or market development within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on upstream activities and downhole applications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring a Saudi National. The role involves managing a diverse customer portfolio and adhering to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
