About the Role

Confidential Government is seeking a Senior Import/Export Specialist to join their team in Dhahran, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position focused on managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Import/Export Specialist will be responsible for several critical functions related to shipment management. This includes contributing to the oversight of all incoming and outgoing shipments, and developing standardized processes for submitting outgoing shipments to external parties. A significant part of the role involves documenting, tracking, and archiving outgoing shipments both electronically and digitally. The specialist will also ensure shipments are prepared and decisions are finalized before submission to external entities, and establish distribution processes for these shipments and their associated records. Furthermore, the role requires developing internal distribution processes to ensure timely and professional delivery of outgoing shipments to relevant management and employees. Managing high-value shipments according to priority and importance will also be a key duty. Adherence to organizational work rules, procedures, and cybersecurity protocols is mandatory.

Shipment Documentation and Archiving

A core function of this role is the comprehensive management of shipment documentation. This includes providing all necessary documentation for shipments, maintaining accurate tracking records, and ensuring all information is archived both digitally and electronically. The specialist will also be responsible for the filing and preservation of these records with the organization's archiving and preservation center.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in import/export operations is required for this role. The original description mentioned a minimum of 4 years, but the overall context indicates a senior level requiring broader experience.
