About the Opportunity

ABIS is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to join the team supporting Saudi Aramco – SMP in Dhahran. This full-time position is designed for cybersecurity professionals with 2 to 5 years of experience in security operations, log analysis, and SIEM technologies.

Role Focus

The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst will contribute to maintaining and enhancing the security posture of Saudi Aramco – SMP. The role primarily involves active participation in security operations, performing log analysis, and working with SIEM technologies to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats and ensure robust security measures are in place.

Core Responsibilities

• Conducting daily security operations activities and monitoring.
• Performing detailed log analysis to identify security incidents, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Utilizing SIEM platforms for effective security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Applying knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, networking, and databases within cybersecurity contexts.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, specifically in security operations, log analysis, and SIEM technologies.

Technical Expertise and Certifications

• Strong knowledge of Splunk, Cribl, SIEM platforms, and log analysis techniques.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux administration, networking principles, databases, and general cybersecurity operations.
• Basic scripting skills, preferably in Python or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Required certifications include Splunk Power User and Splunk Administration.

Location and Work Type

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, supporting Saudi Aramco – SMP. The role requires on-site presence to effectively engage with security operations and team activities.
