We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, working on the RSAF Tornado aircraft. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing these high-performance aircraft.

Job Purpose:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will carry out airframe requirements, including scheduled maintenance, modifications, and unscheduled repairs. You may also be required to provide support outside regular duties as per the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on RSAF Tornado aircraft.
  • Conduct disassembly, cleaning, testing, and minor structural repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with TPDMU Quality System and RSAF Technical Orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and advise for training needs.
  • Follow Health and Safety policies rigorously.

Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include the completion of a recognized trade apprenticeship, Tornado aircraft maintenance experience, and relevant certifications in metal fabrication and structural repairs. A minimum of 6 years in trade specialty is essential, with at least 2 years in depth maintenance activities on Tornado IDS aircraft.

Pay and Accommodation:
The daily rate is £28064, inclusive of travel allowances, with accommodation provided (food not included).

  • Familiarity with SAP Systems is a plus.
