About the Role

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Electrical Modification Mechanic to join the F-15SA Modifications team. This full-time, on-site position is based at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The role involves executing electrical and avionics modification tasks, applying technical competence to ensure safe, compliant, and timely modification outcomes for the F-15SA aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform modification tasks on F-15SA electrical systems in accordance with technical orders, engineering instructions, blueprints, and authorized publications.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and avionics systems, wiring harnesses, circuit protection, sensors, and interfaces.
  • Utilize appropriate test equipment and procedures to validate work performed and ensure system functionality.
  • Interpret technical documentation, including drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical orders, to diagnose and resolve moderate to complex system faults.
  • Coordinate with maintenance controllers, coordinators, and management to sequence and prioritize work, ensuring the availability of tooling, materials, and test equipment.
  • Conduct operational tests, ground checks, and component inspections to verify airworthiness and conformity to modification and safety standards.
  • Adhere to Boeing standards, applicable regulatory requirements, Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS) processes.
  • Complete accurate technical records, modification logs, test reports, and discrepancy documentation as per program, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/BPS/CI) and support training programs.
  • Support a flexible work environment, including overtime, to meet program timelines and execution demands.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of aircraft modification or maintenance experience with demonstrated competence in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • At least 1 year of experience reading and interpreting technical orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance publications.
  • Hands-on experience using aircraft test equipment and standard aircraft tooling.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Formal qualification in an aircraft engineering or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience on fighter aircraft platforms (F-15 highly desirable) or other military fixed-wing platforms.
  • Prior experience supporting aircraft modification programs, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), or production environments.
  • Familiarity with maintenance recording systems and tool control systems.

Work Location and Conditions

This is an international, locally hired position based 100% on-site at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position; candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Boeing is not able to sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level, are not part of Boeing ******* payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications in accordance with applicable Saudi Arabia law. Employment is contingent upon the candidate's ability to satisfy all Saudi Arabia labor and immigration formalities.
