About the Wireless and Corrosion Solutions Specialist Role

Emerson is seeking a Wireless and Corrosion Solutions Specialist to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to delivering service excellence and driving business growth for Emerson’s Pervasive Sensing portfolio across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The role focuses on providing comprehensive aftermarket services for wireless, corrosion, and erosion monitoring solutions, ensuring enhanced customer reliability, safety, and digital transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrade activities for wireless, corrosion, and erosion monitoring solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys, walk-downs, and installed-base assessments to identify opportunities for upgrades, consulting, and services.
  • Prepare system adequacy studies, gap analyses, cybersecurity assessments, and scopes of work for new and existing systems.
  • Execute cybersecurity reviews and recommend improvements to enhance system resilience and compliance.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, patch management, and system hardening.
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, and cross-functional teams on cybersecurity and system integration practices.
  • Provide advanced technical support to customers, including participation in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as needed.
  • Support customer training programs and mentor field service engineers on troubleshooting and advanced applications.
  • Lead and support Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) planning and execution according to contract terms and customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies for the installed base to achieve service growth and profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to Emerson's quality, ethics, trade compliance, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and support operational excellence.
  • Adhere to the organization's Health, Safety & Environment policies.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, information security, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity in industrial environments, including control systems, HMI, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Hands-on experience implementing OT cybersecurity solutions such as risk assessments, firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus, and monitoring systems.
  • Strong understanding of wireless systems architecture and integration within industrial networks.
  • Knowledge of secure field and industrial network architectures.
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites while collaborating effectively with remote and regional teams.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications related to networking or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with international cybersecurity standards and frameworks used in industrial environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience supporting customers in energy, process, or large manufacturing environments.
