The Role

Almarai is seeking a Fire & Safety Officer to join its team in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The primary objective of this role is to oversee the safety of all divisional personnel, contractors, and visitors at all Hail site locations and accommodations, while also minimizing risks associated with fire, smoke, and water damage to company resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the safety of all divisional personnel, contractors, and visitors at Hail site locations and accommodations.
  • Report any unsafe or defective equipment, practices, acts, or omissions to functional management.
  • Ensure immediate corrective action is taken to address safety concerns.
  • Work to eliminate or minimize the risk of loss resulting from fire, smoke, and water damage.
  • Protect Almarai resources, including personnel, buildings, plant & equipment, product & raw materials, and information & information retrieval systems (both paper & electronic).

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Member of IOSHE.
  • ISO 9001:2008 certified Lead Auditor.
  • KAWADER Holder or NEBOSH IGC.

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience as a trained fire-fighter with either a civil Fire Brigade or a large multi-national company fire team.
  • Proficiency in fire detection and suppression equipment.
  • Supervisory experience and work planning for subordinates.
  • Experience in incident/accident reporting, fire fighting skills, and conducting fire drills.
  • Ability to conduct fire prevention training, fire inspection and maintenance, fire accident investigation, fire risk assessment, and risk management.
  • Exposure to Computer and SAP Environment.
