About the Role

Kent is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join their team in Al Khobar. This is a full-time position focused on the fabrication and installation of piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate piping using methods such as cutting, threading, roll grooving, and bevelling, working from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure seamless assembly.
  • Assemble and install various fixtures, including valves, fittings, and hangers/pipe supports, to ensure the proper functionality of piping systems.
  • Interpret engineering and detailed fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards to accurately complete tasks.
  • Mark out and measure accurately for fabrication and installation.
  • Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members, including engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and the construction management team, to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, including flange management, fit-up tags, work packs, and weld maps.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade – Boilermaker or equivalent.
  • Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, CrMo, and Inconel materials.
  • Experience in both large and small bore piping.
  • Ability to read and understand Isometric and P&ID Drawings.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certificate III Engineering Fabrication Boiler-making/Welding, Certificate III Heavy Metal Fabrication Trade and Welding, Certificate III Welding, or Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade are required.
