About the Opportunity

Raissy Trading and Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Site Engineer Electrical (OHTL) to join their team in Al Kahafah, Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing and executing Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) construction activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive supervision and technical guidance for OHTL construction projects. The Site Engineer will ensure that all phases of construction, from foundational work to final commissioning, meet stringent quality and safety requirements while adhering to established project parameters and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all OHTL construction activities, including foundations, tower erection, conductor stringing, OPGW installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate daily site operations with subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, HSE teams, and the Project Manager.
• Ensure strict compliance with SEC standards, approved engineering drawings, and overall project specifications.
• Prepare and review SEC technical submissions, such as Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Requests for Information (RFIs), method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor work progress, proactively resolve site-related issues, and prepare accurate daily and weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate necessary inspections, testing procedures, material approvals, and project handover documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in 132kV, 230kV, and 380kV OHTL projects.
• Strong knowledge of SEC standards, submission procedures, inspection protocols, and approval processes.
• Demonstrated experience in OHTL construction, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
• Previous experience in Saudi OHTL projects and SEC projects is preferred.
