About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking an Accountant, Accounts Payable Non-Trade to join their team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on maintaining and reconciling specific accounts, resolving supplier/customer disputes, and preparing periodic financial closings.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records related to non-trade accounts payable. This involves meticulous account maintenance, reconciliation, and the timely resolution of any discrepancies or disputes with suppliers and customers. The Accountant will also be responsible for contributing to the preparation of financial closings on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for assigned accounts to ensure accurate and timely reflection of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve disputes, ensuring accuracy and maintaining positive relationships.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure accurate financial statements and adherence to closing timelines.
• Analyze account balances and transaction trends to identify inconsistencies or potential errors, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules to support audits, management reviews, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of accounting operations.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in an accounting role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in either Jeddah or Makkah. The role operates within the finance department of Panda Retail Company – Savola Group, contributing to a structured and professional work environment.
