The Role of AI Systems Lead

Fakieh Logistics is seeking an AI Systems Lead to transition its existing AI-driven internal tools from a functional state to a production-grade standard. This full-time role, based in Makkah, involves owning the entire lifecycle of these systems, ensuring their robustness and scalability under live operational loads and client data obligations. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing systems, including data models, dashboards, automations, and integrations, to identify areas for improvement, hardening, or rebuilding.
• Develop and implement agent and context engineering layers, focusing on creating specific personas, operating guidebooks, retrieval mechanisms, and context design for AI agents.
• Design and execute evaluation processes to ensure AI systems understand specific routes, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and client requirements.
• Establish and maintain a continuous feedback loop with operational teams, collecting insights on system performance and shipping weekly changes based on field observations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A track record of working directly with non-technical operators.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational realities into structured systems.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires close collaboration with operational teams to ensure the effective integration and continuous improvement of AI systems within the logistics framework.
