Asst. Technician

About the Role

Catrion Group is seeking an Asst. Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems maintenance and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to company and department policies, goals, and procedures.
• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of all refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including office units, fixed cool rooms, and refrigeration plants.
• Execute work orders to a high standard of quality workmanship.
• Install and modify cold room units, split-type, fan coils, package, and ducted split A/C systems.
• Ensure all cold rooms are in working condition and comply with hygiene standards.
• Perform balancing of air conditioning systems/sub-systems, cold air ducts/dampers, and controls.
• Perform instrumentation and repair on refrigeration, air conditioning, plant, and associated facilities.
• Generate material and spare parts lists for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including major components.
• Respond to service calls for malfunctioning split-type and window-type A/C units.
• Submit end-of-shift reports on a regular basis.

Team Collaboration and Safety

• Work efficiently and harmoniously with fellow staff and other members or sections within the Technical Department.
• Coordinate with staff and customers on tasks.
• Observe general personal safety by properly utilizing signage such as "Sorry for Inconvenience," "Work under Repair," and "Danger Deep Excavation."
• Maintain housekeeping and tidiness of the workshop and working area through proper disposal of scrapped materials.
• Assist Technicians in the implementation of familiarization, apprenticeship, and craft skill training for Saudi Nationals and newly recruited staff.
