The Role: Residence Guest Service Associate

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Residence Guest Service Associate for a full-time position. This role is central to the guest experience, primarily focusing on front desk operations and direct guest interaction. The Associate is responsible for managing guest arrivals, departures, and financial transactions, while also providing support for guest inquiries and requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct guest registration and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Handle cashiering duties and foreign exchange transactions.
• Facilitate or provide assistance for guest queries and requests.
• Ensure sufficient stock of supplies for the expected business within the covered shift and/or for the day.
• Prepare necessary documents, such as registration forms and welcome folders, prior to guest arrivals to facilitate check-in.
• Acknowledge and welcome guests promptly upon their approach to the desk.
• Check OPMS records for guest history and specialized instructions.
• Assist guests in completing registration forms and review entries to ensure important details are included.
• Direct guests to appropriate lifts and coordinate with Concierge staff as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of working experience in a hotel environment.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, for both written and verbal communication.
• Possession of a pleasant, friendly, and cheerful attitude.
