About the Club Receptionist Role

Marriott International is seeking a Club Receptionist to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to providing excellent guest service and maintaining high standards within the fitness and recreation areas. The role is central to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests and members.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all fitness and recreation areas.
• Provide excellent guest service, anticipating and addressing guest needs effectively.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and members of the facility.
• Promote a relaxing atmosphere while consistently enforcing facility rules and regulations for safety.
• Provide immediate assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.

Operational Duties and Guest Interaction

• Wipe down fitness center machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from the area.
• Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in the recreation area.
• Clean fitness and recreation area restrooms and showers regularly.
• Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to established company procedures.
• Distribute lockers and towels to guests as needed.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, informing the supervisor or manager of low supply items.
• Provide comprehensive information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, assisting individuals with disabilities and thanking guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.

Compliance, Safety, and Physical Requirements

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Comply with all quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify any defects.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Experience: No related work experience and no supervisory experience are required for this role.
• Required Certifications: Candidates must possess CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, a Fitness Equipment related certification or demonstrated proficiency, and any other certification or training required by local and state agencies.
