About the Demi Chef Position

Creative Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and skilled Demi Chef to join The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to ultra-luxury hospitality development on the Red Sea, located within Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment at AMAALA Island

This position is based on AMAALA Island, an exclusive and remote destination situated on the Red Sea. Candidates must be prepared for living and working within a remote island environment as part of this unique development.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to established standards under the direction of the Chef.
• Ensure adherence to recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the kitchen and workstations.
• Support stock management, mise en place, and overall kitchen setup.
• Assist in supervising and mentoring Commis Chefs.
• Support opening and closing duties for the kitchen section.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience as a Demi Chef or a strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Good English communication skills are required; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
