The Role of Digital Transformation Manager

The Digital Transformation Manager will lead the design and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the logistics business. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, focuses on improving operational visibility, customer experience, productivity, data quality, and integration across freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the logistics digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise technology standards.
• Lead the business design, implementation, adoption, and benefits realization of digital platforms and automation initiatives.
• Provide concise reports on progress, budget, risk, adoption, and benefit realization to governance committees.
• Translate operational and customer requirements into clear business cases, functional requirements, process designs, and delivery priorities.
• Manage vendors and partners through clear deliverables, service levels, and escalation mechanisms.
• Coordinate implementation partners, technology teams, vendors, and business owners to deliver approved initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Establish project governance, risk controls, change management, user training, and post-implementation performance tracking.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and ensure digital solutions support information security, privacy, and business continuity requirements.
• Identify and evaluate automation, AI, IoT, analytics, customer portal, and integration opportunities relevant to logistics operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital transformation, technology-enabled change, or business systems.
• At least 3 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Certification in PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation is preferred.
