About the EBC Group Conference & Events Sales Manager Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts®, a brand within Marriott International, is seeking an EBC Group Conference & Events Sales Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities, ensuring proper and timely business turnover for service delivery. The role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals, requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities for conferences and events.
• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
• Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
• Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.
• Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business or close existing business.
• Execute and support operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

• Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
• Understand the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to inform sales strategies.
• Secure the most suitable opportunities for the location based on market conditions and needs.
• Gain an understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Customer Service Standards

• Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Service customers to grow their share of the account.
• Execute and uphold the company’s customer service standards and daily service basics.
• Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.
