About Al Aman Modern Energy and the Role

Al Aman Modern Energy is seeking an Electrical Design and Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to projects in Jeddah. The role involves a comprehensive range of activities from the design phase through to the commissioning of various electrical panels and related accessories, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality and compliance.

Role Scope and Objectives

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning of a diverse range of electrical panels. This includes MDB, SMDB, FDB, MCC, VFD, PLC, ATS, AMF, Synchronization, APFC, Lighting, HVAC, Solar, and Industrial Automation Panels. A key objective of this role is to ensure all processes and products strictly comply with IEC and other international standards, while also leading and coordinating necessary teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical power, control, and automation panels according to client requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Select appropriate electrical components, including breakers, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, and protection devices.
• Develop comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead the production team to ensure accurate panel assembly and wiring.
• Supervise manufacturing and assembly activities to maintain quality and compliance standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical panels.
• Ensure strict compliance with IEC, NEC, UL, and other relevant electrical standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality, and project teams to meet project schedules and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and after-sales activities.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement.
• Identify key certifications for the technical team to pursue and strategic programs (*, Schneider Panel Builders) for company participation.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in electrical design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
• Strong understanding of electrical power, control, and automation panel design principles.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC, UL, and other relevant electrical standards.
• Ability to develop technical documentation including BOMs and specifications.
• Experience in leading production teams and supervising manufacturing processes is beneficial.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is primarily based in Makkah, with project responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role requires active collaboration with various internal teams within a dynamic manufacturing and design environment, focusing on delivering high-quality electrical solutions.
