Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Neproplast is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join its team in Makkah, serving both Jeddah and Makkah regions. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation of industrial production machinery and factory equipment, particularly within injection, extrusion, and plastic manufacturing. The technician will be responsible for minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment to high safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, injection/extrusion systems, and related factory equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in industrial machinery, focusing on root cause resolution.
• Support maintenance activities for PLC, VFD, motors, sensors, control panels, and automation systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, adjustments, and testing of machines according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to machine stoppages and emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, machine manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring/testing tools for fault identification and repair quality verification.
• Support predictive maintenance activities, including vibration checks, thermal checks, and condition monitoring.
• Report required spare parts, abnormal machine conditions, and recurring failures to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Record completed work, breakdown details, time taken, spare parts used, and maintenance activities in ERP/CMMS or maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth and safe machine operation.
• Maintain workshop tools, maintenance areas, and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Adhere to all company procedures, safety rules, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE requirements, and HSE instructions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Proven experience with industrial production machinery, particularly injection, extrusion, and plastic manufacturing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah regions. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
