About the Export Specialist Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking an Export Specialist to support the growth and development of its export business. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, requires 2-5 years of experience and involves managing distributor and customer relationships, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of commercial and operational processes in alignment with company objectives.

Sales and Business Development

The Export Specialist will be responsible for supporting the achievement of export sales targets in assigned markets. This includes effectively managing existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and assisting in the development of volume and value growth plans for distributors. The role also involves supporting market expansion initiatives in new export territories and coordinating with distributors and customers to ensure the timely execution of agreed business plans, promotions, and sales activities. Contribution to sales forecasts and demand plans for export markets is also a key aspect of this function.

Customer and Distributor Management

Maintaining strong working relationships with distributors, importers, and customers is crucial for ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction. The Export Specialist will handle customer inquiries, commercial follow-ups, and operational issues in coordination with relevant internal departments. Monitoring distributor performance and market activities, providing regular feedback and market insights to management, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions to address market challenges are also integral to this role.

Cross-Functional Coordination

This role requires close coordination with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely product availability, shipment planning, and smooth execution of export orders. The Export Specialist will ensure that export documentation and shipping processes are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and international trade requirements. Collaboration with Quality and Supply Chain teams is essential to minimize customer complaints, returns, and delivery issues, and to ensure products are shipped to the correct markets in line with distribution policies.

Financial Oversight and Reporting

Coordination with the Finance department is necessary to ensure compliance with approved credit terms, payment follow-up, and customer account reconciliation. The Export Specialist will prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, shipment updates, forecast tracking, and market performance analysis for management review. Monitoring sales performance against targets and proactively highlighting risks and opportunities are also key responsibilities.

Market Support and Intelligence

The role includes supporting participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits to enhance market presence and identify business opportunities. Gathering market intelligence related to competitors, pricing, product trends, and customer needs will be vital in supporting business growth initiatives.
