General Manager Regent Corniche

About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a General Manager for the Regent Jeddah Corniche. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and involves leading the pre-opening, opening, and long-term operations of Regent Jeddah, a new luxury hotel development scheduled to open in late 2027. The role requires 5-10 years of experience.

Role Context

The General Manager will be responsible for defining the vision, culture, guest experience, and commercial success of Regent Jeddah from its initial stages through to full operation. This position involves close collaboration with ownership, IHG's luxury leadership team, and key stakeholders to establish Regent Jeddah as a flagship destination within the region and a leading luxury hotel in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the hotel's pre-opening, opening, and ongoing operations.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to ensure sustainable commercial performance and owner returns.
• Build trusted relationships with owners, owner representatives, and key stakeholders.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
• Establish Regent Jeddah's position as a leading luxury destination in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure the delivery of guest experiences in line with Regent brand standards.
• Lead financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Represent the hotel, Regent Hotels & Resorts, and IHG Hotels & Resorts with industry, government, and community stakeholders.
• Champion talent development and create an environment where colleagues can thrive and grow.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven General Manager experience within internationally recognized luxury or ultra-luxury hotel brands.
• Significant pre-opening and hotel opening leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering sustainable business performance and owner value.
• Experience working closely with owners, investors, and owner representatives.
• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Deep understanding of luxury hospitality and evolving guest expectations.
• Experience operating within the Middle East region is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading a new luxury hotel development situated on the Jeddah Waterfront along the Red Sea. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to establishing a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the region.
