About Al Borg Diagnostics and the Role

Al Borg Diagnostics is seeking a General Practitioner Physician to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive and high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages within the PHM department. The physician will deliver clinical care, promote health education, and support patient care plans across Primary Care centres, Telehealth, and Home healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care, including detailed medical histories, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients.
• Perform clinical procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions common in primary care, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct routine physical examinations, screenings, and preventive care interventions.
• Ensure care continuity for patients with long-term health conditions.
• Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests and imaging studies, and provide referrals to specialists as clinically indicated, adhering to established guidelines.
• Offer preventive care services, including well-child checkups, immunizations, health screenings, and lifestyle counseling.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans, providing counseling on medication management, chronic disease care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Develop and distribute tailored educational materials on family health and wellness.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols, participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with patient safety and infection control measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).

Professional Development

The General Practitioner Physician is expected to stay updated on advances in medical practice, treatment protocols, and healthcare trends. This includes active participation in continuing medical education (CME) and other professional development activities. The role may also involve mentoring and supervising junior doctors and residents as needed.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in general practice or a similar primary care setting.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with work performed across various settings, including Primary Healthcare Centres, Telehealth Services, and Home health care visits. The role involves varying shifts, with occasional extended hours, and the possibility of weekend and holiday shifts to accommodate patient needs.
