Group Financial Controller

About the Role

Nadir Ali Shah HR Consultants is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller for a full-time position in Jeddah, Makkah. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial control within complex organizational structures, such as Group/Holding Companies, Diversified Groups, Conglomerates, or Multi-Entity Organizations.

Role Overview

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and reporting across multiple entities. This position requires a professional capable of managing and reviewing finance teams, ensuring robust financial controls, and providing accurate financial insights for diversified businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of financial statements across multiple companies and entities.
• Oversee group financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and taxation.
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls throughout the group.
• Manage and review the performance of finance teams across various entities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial control role, specifically at a Group/Holding Company level.
• Proven experience in diversified businesses or conglomerates with multiple subsidiaries and entities.
• CPA qualification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS are mandatory.
• Extensive experience in the consolidation of financial statements.
• Strong expertise in group financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, taxation, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and reviewing finance teams across multiple entities.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate accounting, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and group reporting.
