Financial Controller

About the Role

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the financial control function for their business. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust cost control, and strong financial governance across various projects and business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial close processes, management accounts, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across all projects and business lines.
• Maintain strong project-level cost control in coordination with commercial and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, and internal governance frameworks.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial planning and business performance analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

• 10–15 years of total finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in a Financial Controller role or an equivalent senior finance leadership position.
• Prior experience within a construction or contracting company is essential.
• Strong technical accounting background; a qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience managing project-based cost control and multi-entity reporting.
