 Host/Hostess

The Host/Hostess is Responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and cashier transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience by providing efficient guest service and maintaining a welcoming front-of-house environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage the waitlist, and ensure a smooth seating process while providing personalized service.

·       Reservations Management: Handle incoming phone calls, take reservations using the designated application, and maintain an organized reservation system.

·       Table Assignments: Assign tables based on guest preferences and operational needs, ensuring a balanced flow of service throughout the restaurant.

·       Customer Engagement: Monitor guest needs during their dining experience, responding promptly to requests and inquiries to enhance satisfaction.

·       Complaint Resolution: Address guest complaints effectively by following established protocols, documenting feedback, and communicating issues to management for resolution.

·       Cashier Duties: Manage the cash register efficiently, ensuring it is balanced at the end of each shift, processing payments accurately, and maintaining a clean workstation

·       Sales Promotion: Engage in suggestive selling of menu items to increase sales while adhering to company guidelines for customer interactions

·       Operational Support: Assist with administrative tasks assigned by the Guest Experience Supervisor, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.

·       Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues promptly to the Manager on Duty and follow up to ensure timely resolutions.

·      Training Support: Assist in training new staff on front-of-house procedures, providing guidance on customer service and cash register operations.
