About the Role

Role Overview

The Lead Lab Engineer will be responsible for selecting appropriate engineering techniques to address complex problems and provide informed recommendations. This role requires setting clear operational objectives and delivering results that directly impact the achievement of goals within the job area and broader operational context. The successful candidate will also be expected to adapt and enhance existing methods to improve quality and value in day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard test engineering assignments, often comprising a significant portion of larger projects.
• Select and apply engineering techniques to solve problems and formulate recommendations.
• Establish operational objectives and ensure delivery of results that significantly impact departmental or wider operational achievements.
• Communicate facts, practices, and policies effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Influence internal stakeholders to adopt new concepts, practices, and approaches, particularly where strong interest exists.
• Adapt or enhance the quality and value of existing methods as part of routine tasks.
• Address vaguely defined problems, requiring comprehensive understanding and consideration of other job areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in test engineering or a related discipline.

Team and Scope

This position operates as an individual contributor, without direct responsibility for leading other personnel. The role involves applying specialized knowledge within a domestic scope, primarily limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
