About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations in Jeddah. This full-time role encompasses culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service functions. The Outlet Manager is responsible for driving guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial objectives. The position requires a strong understanding of applicable food and beverage laws and regulations, alongside the ability to develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the department.

Key Responsibilities

The Outlet Manager's primary duties involve the comprehensive oversight and strategic management of all food and beverage operations. This includes:

• Managing all culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service operations.
• Supervising and managing employees, overseeing all day-to-day departmental activities.
• Developing and managing financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service and proactively addressing guest concerns.
• Providing leadership, vision, and direction to align and prioritize departmental goals.

Financial Management and Budgeting

A core aspect of this role is the effective management of departmental finances and budgets. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing all financial plans for Food and Beverage departments.
• Maintaining a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Utilizing budgets to understand and achieve financial objectives.
• Complying with all corporate accounting procedures.

Team Leadership and Development

The Outlet Manager is responsible for fostering a high-performing team through effective leadership and human resource management. Key duties include:

• Leading, influencing, and encouraging team members through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creating an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Providing proactive coaching, counseling, and conducting timely performance reviews.
• Identifying developmental needs and implementing formal educational or training programs.
• Monitoring employee productivity levels and setting clear performance expectations.
• Promoting fair treatment and open-door policies within the department.
• Driving effective departmental communication through logs, meetings, and information systems.

Guest Experience and Service Excellence

Delivering exceptional guest service is paramount for this role. Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service and responding quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understanding and driving alignment of all employees and managers to the brand's service culture.
• Taking ownership of guest complaints until resolved or addressed by the appropriate personnel.
• Verifying that all banquet functions meet standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Improving service by communicating guest needs and providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
• Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate service behaviors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Outlet Manager position should demonstrate 2-5 years of relevant experience and meet one of the following educational requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.
• OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.
