About the P Technician Role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a P Technician to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the operation and maintenance of critical test equipment within the aerospace and defense sector. Role Overview and Responsibilities

The P Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Patriot Transmitter Tank Test Stations and their associated Cooling System. This includes performing acceptance tests, combustion processes, troubleshooting, and repairing final tanks and high-pressure primary power supply actuators of the transmitter regulator. Ensuring the operational readiness of high-pressure power supply devices, detecting and isolating defects in tanks, and replacing or repairing unserviceable parts are key duties. The role also involves testing and returning Units Under Test (UUT) to a serviceable condition.

• Operate and maintain the test station for PAT 247 patriot transmitter tanks.
• Conduct acceptance tests, combustion processes, troubleshooting, and repairs for final tanks and transmitter regulator power supply actuators.
• Maintain the operational condition of high-pressure power supply devices.
• Identify and isolate defects in unserviceable tanks to the component level.
• Replace and repair faulty components.
• Test and ensure the serviceability of Units Under Test (UUT).
• Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
• Identify faulty work practices and review correct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs).
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Diploma in Electronics from an accredited college or institute. This role is specifically for Saudi nationals. A minimum of 8 years of prior experience is required in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment at a central maintenance station or in a factory environment focused on testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repairing electronic units and subassemblies. Comprehensive knowledge of basic and advanced electronics, along with the ability to test combustion processes and troubleshoot high-pressure regulator supply cabinets within the patriot transmitter group, is essential.

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency in utilizing engineering documents and schematic drawings is necessary. The successful candidate will also be skilled in the use of general kit and general-purpose commercial test equipment. The ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems is a core requirement for this position.
