About the P247 Tech Role

Raytheon, a global leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a P247 Tech to support operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the operation and maintenance of specialized test equipment for the Patriot Transmitter Tank and its associated cooling system. The role is integral to ensuring the readiness and functionality of critical defense systems.

Key Responsibilities

The P247 Tech will be responsible for a range of technical duties, including:

• Operating and maintaining the test station for the PAT 247 Patriot Transmitter Tank.
• Executing acceptance tests, combustion processes, troubleshooting, and repair of final tanks and high-pressure primary power supply actuators for transmitter regulators.
• Ensuring the operational status of high-pressure power supply devices, including those removed for repair.
• Identifying defects in unserviceable tanks and isolating errors to the component level for replacement.
• Replacing and repairing unserviceable parts.
• Testing and returning Units Under Test (UUT) to a serviceable condition.
• Participating in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs to enhance skills.
• Identifying faulty work practices and reviewing correct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs).
• Performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• A Diploma in Electronics from an accredited college or institute.
• Must be a Saudi national.
• A minimum of 8 years of prior experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment within a central maintenance station or a factory environment focused on testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of electronic units and subassemblies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic and advanced electronics, with the ability to test combustion processes and troubleshoot/repair primary and final high-pressure regulator supply cabinets within the Patriot transmitter group.
• Proficiency in using engineering documents, schematic drawings, general kits, and general-purpose commercial test equipment.
