About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Jeddah is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for Central Patient Transport. This full-time role involves performing essential patient transport tasks and supporting the daily operations of the department to ensure effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the provision of safe, patient, and family-focused quality care.
• Accompany, transport, and transfer patients and patient-related items (*, charts, medications) as required.
• Assist patients in transporting them safely to different areas within the facility.
• Adhere to established telephone etiquette and communication protocols.
• Seek assistance from supervisors or colleagues when appropriate.
• Comply with the Employee Code of Conduct and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture and identifying potential risks to the Supervisor.
• Float to and cover other areas as assigned to support departmental needs.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Collect, organize, archive, and file documents periodically as needed.
• Follow the established chain of command for reporting incidents or concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Education is required.
• No prior experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah and operates on a full-time schedule within a hospital setting, focusing on direct patient support and transport services.
