Pavement Senior Manager

About the Role

Jedco is seeking a Pavement Senior Manager for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role involves leading the planning and execution of airside pavement inspection, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction activities. The Pavement Senior Manager ensures that pavement assets remain safe, compliant with aviation requirements, and fit for operational use, while also supporting the organizational unit’s plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the organizational unit’s plans and manage their execution to support seamless operations and objective achievement.
• Oversee regular inspections and surveillance of airside pavements to identify wear, distress, and potential hazards, and arrange timely preventive action.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, including crack sealing, surface repairs, and resealing, to extend pavement life and reduce the need for costly replacements.
• Plan and manage pavement rehabilitation projects, coordinating resurfacing, reconstruction, and related activities to maintain or improve pavement quality.
• Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols through regular assessments and audits.
• Develop and enforce material specifications for pavement construction and repairs, ensuring materials meet relevant aviation standards and quality requirements.
• Evaluate vendors regularly, provide performance feedback, and promote continuous improvement in pavement maintenance and construction services.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as directed by the Line Manager.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in pavement management, maintenance, or construction, preferably within an aviation or similar operational environment.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role involves working within a team focused on maintaining critical airside infrastructure.
