As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Petty Cash Management: Review and ensure the accuracy of store petty cash and maintenance invoices through audits and comparisons with bank statements.
  • Document Review: Ensure compliance of invoices, collect necessary approvals, and enter them into the system for further review.
  • Cheque Management: Manage the cheque log sheet, registering information about issued cheques and ensuring their timely return.
  • Lease Payments: Prepare and review lease contracts to ensure accurate and timely payments, coordinating with accountants as necessary.

Work Environment:
Indoors: 100%, Outdoors: 0%
Working Days: 5 days a week
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with a 1-hour break

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

  • Prepare and file accurate monthly/quarterly VAT returns through the ZATCA e-services portal.
  • Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan to assess financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Prepare corporate financial statements for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (SOCPA/CPA).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and compliance roles, preferably in real estate.
  • Proficient in Matrix ERP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ZATCA regulations, and local tax law.
  • High attention to accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
