About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on comprehensive project management within the organization, contributing to the successful execution of various projects.

Key Capabilities

The Project Engineer is expected to demonstrate strong capabilities across a broad range of project management functions. This includes expertise in cost control, meticulous planning and reporting, accurate progress measurement, schedule development and control, forecasting, and effective management of change throughout project lifecycles.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare realistic project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and provide regular updates.
• Prepare and monitor detailed construction project cost and cash flow reports.
• Prepare and monitor procurement logs.
• Perform data analysis to identify deviations from baseline schedules and approved costs.
• Perform earned value analysis to determine project trends.
• Highlight project bottlenecks and propose corrective actions in case of delays.
• Monitor changes and variation orders.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office to resolve technical queries.
• Coordinate procurement and financing issues.
• Manage budgeting and invoicing for sub-contractors.
• Submit document and material approvals to design/supervision consultants and follow up until approval.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates, along with weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain records of updated drawings and ensure obsolete drawings are retrieved from the site team.
• Monitor material wastage.
• Oversee testing and commissioning, and the handing over process.
• Monitor the preparation of as-built drawings for all trades.
• Obtain approval for mock-ups and monitor work adherence to approvals.
• Monitor all site activities to prevent delays.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Project Engineer position must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a similar capacity.

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, serving the Fakeeh Care Group operations in the region.
