This full-time position for a Quality Assurance Inspector II GF is based in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Inspector II GF is responsible for ensuring the implementation of quality and food safety procedures across production processes. This role involves comprehensive inspection, verification, and support for quality management systems, including interaction with internal teams and external service providers. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, ingredients, and packaging before production using a verification program.
  • Verify and update pest control records, and manage the pest control service supplier.
  • Collect various samples (raw material, ingredients, packaging, air, water, swabbing) and deliver them to the internal lab.
  • Verify cleaning procedures for production lines.
  • Ensure quality procedures are implemented through process verification and visual observation.
  • Provide technical guidance to production staff on Critical Control Points (CCPs).
  • Verify records to confirm corrective actions align with the quality program.
  • Facilitate the implementation of quality programs and propose necessary changes.
  • Advise on corrective actions for deviations detected in the production process.
  • Check monitoring and fill verification records according to the planned schedule.
  • Report non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of the Food Safety & Quality Management system.
  • Analyze Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals used on-site to ensure suitability.
  • Manage external service providers (*, Pest Control, Cleaning Service, Laundry).
  • Assist external service providers in collecting lab samples on-site.
  • Conduct Quality Routes and other system-required checks.
  • Deliver GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other technical trainings to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Maintain supplier approval documents, follow up on missing or expired documents, and self-assessment questionnaires.
  • Prepare for and execute supplier audits and technical visits, including follow-up on non-conforming reports and corrective actions.
  • Prepare materials for Food Safety Meetings and follow up on actions.
  • Prepare for and execute service provider audits (*, Laundry, Canteen), including follow-up on non-conforming reports and corrective actions.
  • Ensure raw material specifications are updated to prevent non-conforming materials from entering the process, coordinating with the R&D team.
  • Upload raw material claims via the Salesforce SAP system and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Prepare training materials for Quality Trainings, including Salesforce.
  • Prepare QA TBT (Toolbox Talk) materials.
  • Raise intracompany claims with and without value to suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly supplier material findings reports for management and suppliers.
  • Participate in trials for new raw materials and provide technical input.
  • Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and contribute to the BRF Sustainability Plan.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a relevant quality assurance role.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and verify quality procedures.
  • Experience with food safety and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and training.
