Resource planning specialist

About the Role

Red Sea Gateway Terminal is seeking a Resource Planning Specialist to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring efficient planning and coordination of resources across various divisions to support effective operations and fulfill employee requirements.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to understand the interdependencies between departments and divisions to plan resources effectively. The specialist will ensure that all divisions have the necessary resources to function efficiently, meeting the needs and requirements of employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate activities related to the Behavioral Improvement and Consequence Management (BICM) program.
• Arrange, monitor, and control the vacation plan for Technical Services Division (TSD) employees.
• Assess, analyze, and resolve personnel-related problems, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure work is performed to the highest standards, consistent with available resources, time, and departmental requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring their implementation within the Division.
• Liaise with the HR Division and Port Authority for strategic alignment and information sharing. Coordinate the acquisition of government and Port Authority documentation such as IQAMA, Port Permits, Insurance, and Certificates.
• Manage the technical services division training matrix and employee career paths.
• Manage personnel scheduling, review time records, and prepare overtime requests. Monitor the accuracy of and analyze reports from the people scheduling system.
• Prepare and provide the TSD monthly incentive report to the finance division.
• Sustain the Document Management System, ensuring departmental compliance with proper revision, communication, and disposal processes.
• Perform other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic operational environment at Red Sea Gateway Terminal.
