Safety Officer

About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on implementing and maintaining occupational health and safety standards across construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational health and safety requirements across project sites.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Follow up and close out safety observations and corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for the workforce.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Certification from NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is required.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulations.
• Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, and the Permit to Work (PTW) system.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction and reporting.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Work Location

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and involves working on project sites within the region.
