Core Responsibilities and Objectives

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that business is properly transitioned for service delivery and plays a key role in guiding daily sales activities. A primary objective is to meet personal sales goals while contributing to the overall sales performance of the location. This involves strategic engagement with both existing and prospective clients to expand the customer base and secure future bookings.

Relationship Management and Sales Execution

• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure aligned and efficient sales efforts.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers through sales calls, client entertainment, familiarization trips, and trade shows.
• Develop community relationships to broaden the customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and effective turnover of business to Event Management.
• Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and finalize deals.
• Execute the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, drafting contracts, and managing customer correspondence.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

• Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location-specific revenue targets.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics, to effectively position offerings.
• Secure the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on prevailing market conditions and specific needs.
• Understand the primary target customer and their service expectations, providing tailored business solutions by comprehending their operations and concerns.

Customer Service Excellence

• Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, fostering customer loyalty through consistent service excellence.
• Provide dedicated service to customers to increase their share of account business.
• Implement and uphold the company’s established customer service standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with the company's daily service principles.
• Serve as a positive role model for guest relations.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.
