About the Role

Mondelēz International is seeking a Senior HR Manager SA to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is critical for the company's commercial growth ambitions in Saudi Arabia, focusing on balancing employee interests with business objectives. The Senior HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to managers, driving strategic growth and enhancing workforce performance through support in talent management, employee engagement, and change management.

Role Context and Impact

This position is a key member of the KSA Commercial Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future commercial workforce. The focus is on developing a workforce that is locally rooted, globally competitive, consumer-obsessed, and capable of achieving success at every point of sale across the Kingdom. The role involves embedding the people agenda into commercial decisions and co-owning the KSA commercial plan from a human resources perspective, ensuring the right talent, structure, and capabilities are in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives, understanding their impacts.
• Collaborate with function leads and middle managers to create and deliver functional priorities and plans, providing strategic guidance.
• Leverage data analytics for business solutions and decisions, supporting operational processes and translating insights into actionable plans.
• Inform People Services of any local, legal, and regulatory changes in the market.
• Lead and advise on talent management practices within the assigned business unit, including workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning, and talent mobility.
• Build end-to-end capabilities to accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence.
• Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements.
• Consult on overhead management.

Strategic Contributions

• Act as a trusted advisor to the KSA Commercial Director and Commercial Leadership Team.
• Translate Mondelēz's global and MENAP people priorities into locally relevant, high-impact commercial initiatives.
• Provide strategic people insights on route-to-market evolution, distributor workforce models, and commercial team effectiveness.
• Foster a locally authentic, globally connected commercial culture that promotes belonging.
• Lead initiatives that celebrate Saudi culture and create an environment for local commercial leaders and talent to flourish.
• Drive engagement action planning across the commercial organization, ensuring the workplace reflects community values.
• Ensure full alignment with local labor regulations, workforce development frameworks, and government workforce initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and drive strategic HR initiatives.
• Experience in talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
• Understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah.
